Beauty is an age-independent entity that has existed since ancient times. Eyelid cosmetic surgery is widely preferred today to achieve a young, dynamic and careful image. Blepharoplasty, lacrimal gland suspension and canthopexy procedures are frequently preferred surgical procedures for the upper eyelid [1], [2]. Lacrimal gland enlargement and prolapse may occur due to congenital or acquired anomalies, and this can lead to cosmetic problems [1], [2]. Due to this beautification, external canthus and upper lid-related surgery are frequently performed. Although a good display is desired after surgery, complications can be annoying for the surgeon and the patient.
In this report, we report a case of loss of suture needle in a 32-year-old female patient in lacrimal gland suspension intervention.
