HEMŞİRELERİN ROBOTİK CERRAHİ KONUSUNDAKİ GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Amaç: Cerrahide robot kullanımı dünya genelinde giderek artmaktadır. Robotik cerrahinin avantajları, dezavantajları, klinik sonuçları ve ekonomik boyutu tartışma ve araştırma konusu olmaya devam etmektedir. Literatürde hemşirelerin robotik cerrahi hakkında görüşlerini inceleyen çalışmalara rastlanmamıştır. Bu nedenle bu çalışma, hemşirelerin robotik cerrahi konusundaki düşüncelerini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu çalışmanın verileri Eylül–Kasım 2015 tarihleri arasında araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan veri toplama formu ile internet üzerinden toplandı. Çalışmanın örneklemini, çalışmaya katılmayı gönüllü olarak kabul eden ve aktif olarak internet kullanan 286 hemşire oluşturdu. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma, sayı ve yüzde kullanıldı. Bulgular: Çalışma kapsamına alınan hemşirelerin %92,7’sinin kadın ve yaş ortalaması 34,6±8,1 yıldır. Hemşirelerin %90,6’sı daha önce robotik cerrahi terimini duyduklarını, %34,6’sı robotik cerrahi hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olduklarını belirtti. Hemşirelerin %68,9’u gelecekte ameliyat olması gerekirse robotik cerrahi yöntemini tercih edebileceğini belirtti. Hemşirelerin %73,4’ünün robotik cerrahi sırasında nasıl hissedecekleri konusunda kendilerini kararsız hissettikleri, %57,7’sinin ise robotik tele-cerrahiyi tercih etme konusunda kararsız oldukları belirlendi. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin çoğunun robotik cerrahi konusunda farkındalığının yüksek olmasına rağmen sınırlı bilgi sahibi olduğu ve kendilerinin robotik cerrahi ile ameliyat olma durumunda bu yöntemi tercih edebilecekleri görüldü. Sağlık teknolojisinde meydana gelen gelişmelerden biri olan robotik cerrahi konusunda hemşirelerin bilgilerinin güncellenmesi ve hemşirelerin bu konudaki görüşlerinin belirlenmesine yönelik daha geniş kapsamlı çalışmaların yapılması önerilmektedir.

Objective: The usage of robots in surgery is increasing worldwide. Advantages, disadvantages, clinical consequences and economic dimension of the robotic surgeon continue being content and research subject. There were no studies that examined nurses' views on robotic surgery in the literature. For this reason, this study was performed to determine the nurses' opinions on robotic surgery. Methods: Data from this descriptive study were collected on the internet through data collection form created by researchers between SeptemberNovember 2015. The research sample consisted of 286 nurses who voluntarily agreed to participate in the research and were actively using the internet. Mean, standard deviation, number and percentage were used in the analyzes of the data. Results: Of the nurses 92.7% included in the study are women and the average age is 34.6±8.1 years. 90.6% of the nurses stated that they had heard the term robotic surgery before and 34.6% of the nurses stated that they had enough knowledge about robotic surgery. 68.9% of the nurses stated that they could prefer robotic surgery if they needed surgery in the future. It was determined that 73.4% of the nurses were hesitant about how to feel themselves during robotic surgery and 57.7% of the nurses were uncertain about choosing robotic tele-surgery. Conclusion: Although most of the nurses have a high awareness of robotic surgery, they have limited knowledge and they would prefer this method in case of necessity for having robotic surgery. It is recommended to update the knowledge of nurses about robotic surgery, which is one of the incredible developments in health technology, and to carry out larger studies to determine the opinions of nurses in this subject.
