Şiddetli Semilobar Holoprozensefalili Bir Olguda Fetal MRG Bulguları

Abstract

Holoprozensefali, embriyonel hayatın 35-42. günleri arasında telensefalon ve diensefalona bölünmesi gereken prozensefalonun çeşitli derecelerde yetersiz bölünmesi sonucu oluşan bir tablodur. Hastalık, şiddetine göre alobar, semilobar ve lobar tip olmak üzere üç gruba ayrılır. İzole olabildiği gibi çeşitli sendromlara da eşlik edebilen holoprozensefalinin prognozu, beyin ve fasiyal deformitelerin şiddetine ve ilgili anomalilerin varlığına bağlıdır. Bu çalışmada, 21 haftalık bir gebede şiddetli semilobar holoprozensefali saptanan fetusun, obstetrik ultrasonografi sonrası elde edilen manyetik rezonans görüntüleme bulguları sunulmaktadır.

Holoprosencephaly is a clinical condition that results from incomplete division of prosencephalon into telencephalon and diencephalone in different phases between 35-42 days of embryogenic life. The disease can be divided into three grades; alobar, semilobar and lobar based on the degree of severity. The prognosis of holoprosencephaly which could also be an isolated anomaly depends on the severity of the brain and facial deformities and presence of associated anomalies. In the present study, we report the findings magnetic resonance imaging of a fetus with severe semilobar holoprosencephaly in 21st week of gestation first detected by obstetric ultrasonography.
