Chiral natural products play a prominent role in medicinal chemistry because of their distinct biological activity and complex structure. This chapter addresses the process of extracting and analyzing chiral chemicals, focusing on the important techniques and approaches used to isolate and characterize these crucial substances. The chapter starts with an exploration of the significance of natural products and chirality. It then proceeds to examine a range of extraction techniques, encompassing both traditional and modern methods, employed for the acquisition of chiral natural products.
