Dear Editor, Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia, also known as epithelioid haemangioma, is a rare epithelioid vascular neoplasia characterized with isolated or grouped papules or nodules. Lesions are typically located in the periauricular region, forehead and scalp.2 Although angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia is usually asymptomatic, itch, tenderness, pulsation and post-traumatic bleeding may be observed in some cases.3 In addition peripheral eosinophilia may be found in 20% of patients.3 The aetiopathogenesis of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia is still unknown but thought to be a vascular malformation with reactive vascular proliferation. In some reports, local trauma, arteriovenous shunt, increased serum oestrogen level, pregnancy and external otitis have been reported as inducing factorsen_US
